Picking a Regular Time for Your PEMF Session

Choosing a time for a PEMF session comes down to your week and the maker’s instructions. This post covers how to find a slot that suits your household, why a fixed time holds better than a loose plan, and how to move it when your week changes.

Start with your week, not the device

Look at how your days run. Note when the house is busy, when it is quiet and which hours shift from day to day. A slot that clashes with the school run or a regular work call will not last, so pick a window that is already free on most days. If more than one person uses the system, agree the times together so nobody has to work around someone else.

Check the length of a session before you choose. It depends on the system and the maker’s instructions, so read those first. Then allow a little more time than the session needs, so you are not watching the clock.

A fixed time is easier to keep

A loose plan, such as using the system when a gap turns up, means making a new decision every day. Gaps are the first thing to disappear when the day gets busy. A fixed time removes the decision. Early morning works for some households and a quiet hour in the afternoon for others.

Move the slot if it does not suit

Jot down the date and time of each session. If the same days keep slipping, move the slot and try the new time for a week or two. See whether you keep to it better. A new job, a school term or a change in who is home can each call for a move.

Who should not use PEMF

Do not use a PEMF system if you have epilepsy, if you are pregnant or if you have certain implants. If you are unsure whether any of these apply to you, ask your doctor before your first session, and read the maker’s instructions for the full list of cautions.
